REGISTRATION INFO:
The Barrington Pre-K is a program for children ages 3 and 4. Children who will be 3 on or before October 1st of the school year are enrolled in either a morning or afternoon session two days a week. Children who will be 4 on or before October 1st of the school year are enrolled in either a morning or afternoon session three days a week. All spaces are based on availability.
* If there is no space available in the 4 year old program, a child who is 4 yrs old may be enrolled in the 3 yr old program. The teachers will work with the child individually and follow the 4 yr old curriculum to ensure kindergarten readiness.*
All students must be toilet trained and be in good health. A current/updated immunization record along with a Universal Child Healthcare record, and a birth certificate are required for registration. For Barrington residents, proof of residency may be required.
We hold open registration in March of every year. Materials are sent home with the 3yr old students. Those wishing to return will be enrolled first. After this advance registration, and in person registration will be held for students not currently enrolled. Since class size is limited, some perspective students may have to be placed on a waiting list until openings occur.
A $30 non-refundable fee will collected at the time of registration.
Tuition & Fees
Four-year-old program - $274.00 per session (3 sessions per yr) ( $822.00 yearly fee)
Three-year-old program- $191.00 per session (3 sessions per yr) ($573.00 yearly fee)

Fall session- August 15, 2009
Winter session- November 16, 2009
Spring session- February 17, 2010

Our school is run on a non-profit basis, therefore prompt payments are essential to our operation. A LATE FEE OF $10.00 WILL BE ADDED to all payments not paid by the proper dates. Further fees will be charged if tuition is not paid within two weeks of the due date. If tuition remains unpaid at the start of the session, your child will not be permitted to attend class. There is a penalty for early withdrawal. Please contact the treasurer for further details.
We appreciate any financial hardships you may encounter, but please contact the Treasurer as soon as difficulties arise so that we may work with you and your family to ensure your child's education. We also keep all conversations private. Communication is important, and we are here to work with you.
Party Fee:
There is a one-time party fee of $20.00 used to purchase crafts, snacks, and game supplies for the in-class parties. Three weeks prior to the scheduled party, one parent from each class will receive a disbursement from the Treasurer. That parent then must coordinate with the other party parents, decide what each parent will provide and then divide the money appropriately. If any parents want to donate party supplies, you are welcome to do so. Please note that the class size is about 15 students, so plan accordingly.
